1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using CleanScan ("the Application"), developed by Limitra ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not install or use CleanScan.

2. License & Intellectual Property

• Limited License: Limitra grants you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CleanScan for personal or commercial document scanning and management purposes in compliance with these Terms.
• Ownership of Code and Assets: All intellectual property rights, trademarks, logos, interface designs, vector assets, and source code of CleanScan are and remain the exclusive property of Limitra.
• Your Document Ownership: You retain 100% full intellectual property ownership and copyright of all documents, images, signatures, and PDF files created, scanned, or imported by you using CleanScan.

3. Rewarded Ad Token Economy & In-App Purchases

3.1 Token Mechanism

• CleanScan offers core features (such as scanning, basic PDF creation, watermarking, merging, and image filters) 100% free of charge.
• Certain advanced features (such as heavy OCR processing or Guided 2-Sided ID Card wizard) operate via a Rewarded Ad Token Economy.
• Users can obtain tokens freely by watching short opt-in rewarded video advertisements or through daily bonus allocations.
• Tokens are stored locally on your device and hold no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred between different users or devices.

3.2 In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

• Users may optionally purchase token packages or lifetime ad-free licenses via Google Play In-App Billing.
• All billing, refunds, and payment processing are subject to the policies of Google Play Store.

4. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You agree that you will NOT:

1. Use CleanScan to scan, forge, produce, or distribute fraudulent documents, counterfeit identification cards, unauthorized copyrighted material, or illegal content.
2. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the application or bypass its token verification and encryption security handlers.
3. Use automated bots, emulators, or scripts to fraudulently generate or manipulate rewarded ad tokens.
4. Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws while using the Application.

5. Security, Passwords & Data Loss Disclaimer

• Local Processing & Backup Responsibility: Because CleanScan does not upload documents to cloud servers, you are solely responsible for backing up your exported PDF files to external storage, cloud drives (e.g., Google Drive), or physical media. Limitra is not liable for data loss caused by device damage, operating system resets, or accidental app deletion.
• PDF Password Management: When using the PDF Password Protection (ISO 32000-1 Encryption) feature, keep your chosen password safe. Because CleanScan does not have a back-door or cloud server, forgotten PDF passwords cannot be recovered by Limitra.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

CleanScan is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, OCR optical recognition 100% accuracy, or uninterrupted service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Limitra and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or documents arising out of or related to your use or inability to use CleanScan.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to certain app features or services without prior notice if you violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Istanbul, Turkey.
